Now classed as one of Yorkshire and Humberside's largest pool based triathlons, Skipton Triathlon provides a friendly atmosphere for all the family and is a superb event for first timers and seasoned professionals alike.

The swim takes place in the new 6 lane, 25m Craven swimming pool in the heart of Aireville Park. The bike course offers a fast and undulating ride through the dales, and the run consits of 2x fast out and back run laps. 

2009's event will again feature the timing chips, which offeres every competitior instant access to their swim, cycle, run and total times as they cross the line.

Aireville Park is located 1 mile outside of the historic market town of Skipton, North Yorks. The park provides the perfect setting for the triathlon with a brand new 6 lane swimming pool, café, ‘pitch & putt and wide, ‘undulating’ parkland.  The main entrance to the park is located off Gargrave road. The best approach to this is from the A59/A629 roundabout. From here, turn onto Gargrave road with the little chef restaurant on your left. Aireville Park is the right turn approx ½ mile up Gargrave road.
