Haworth Mudman Duathlon -2010 Event Cancelled!!
Starting from the world famous cobbled Main Street in Haworth, Mudman consists of a 5km run, 21km MTB finishing with a shorter 3km run and takes the competitors across some of bronte countries most spectacular and testing terrain. The friendly atmosphere provides a superb event for the first timer, whilst the fast course and distance makes for an excellent test for the seasoned pro.

It is with great regret that have to inform you of the cancellation of this year’s Haworth Mudman Duathlon. Despite the success of previous years, entries to Mudman 2010 have not reached sufficient numbers for the event to be financially viable. Despite there still being a few weeks until entries close, as I’m sure you will appreciate, we have now reached a critical decision point as orders need to be placed for T-shirts, First Aid, venue hire, marshalls etc, all at considerable expense, which at present the event is unable to fund.
A full refund shall be issued to all those who have already entered. If you entered online then you will be reissued a full refund electronicaly. If you paid by cheque then we will resend a cheque for the full amount back to your listed postal address. These refunds will take place w/c 4th October 2010.
Obviously no event organiser wants to cancel an event, especially one that has run for 5 years but in this instance we feel we have no other choice. We would like to thank you for your entry and support and look forward to seeing you at future 4Life Events in 2011.
